We run planned window cleaning programmes from your building maintenance unit (BMU), operating the plant to its limits and the conditions — and when the BMU is down, we re-sequence the work rather than leave the glass waiting.

What’s included.
BMUs are efficient on long, regular elevations. Most towers still have faces the cradle cannot reach, which is why we plan BMU work alongside rope access rather than instead of it.

What is a BMU?
A building maintenance unit is permanent roof-mounted plant that lowers a cradle down the facade so technicians can clean and maintain the outside of the building.
What happens if the BMU breaks down?
We stop using it, tell you what failed and re-sequence the work, usually moving the affected elevations to rope access so the cleaning cycle is not lost.
Can you operate our building’s BMU?
Yes. We operate building BMUs as part of our cleaning programmes, within the plant’s certification and operating limits.
